Meet Ferdinand, after 7 years of living abroad he returned home to spend time with his family. Tragically, his visit was cut short, & now he is gone

‎​At 29 years old, Ferdinand felt a deep longing for his family. He used his leave to come home & reunite with his mother, who had courageously raised him & his 2 siblings alone since his father’s passing when Ferdinand was only 8

‎​Fortunately, Ferdinand received a scholarship to study & work abroad at age 22. He soon became the pillar of his family, ensuring his mother & younger siblings were well-cared for & happy.
‎​With a vision for the future, Ferdinand instructed his mother to build a lovely, suitable home for herself & another for him with the funds he sent. His plan was to return soon to marry & settle down with his long term girlfriend of 10 years..

When he arrived & saw the beautiful homes his mother had completed, he was overjoyed & deeply satisfied. ‎​After a few wonderful weeks with his mom & siblings. Despite his mom’s refusals ,he insisted to visit his uncles in the village. According to him, he also wanted to share the happy news of his upcoming wedding, scheduled for a few months after he returned to his base.

‎​Unfortunately, on his way back from the village, while on an okada (a bike) Ferdinand was involved in a minor incident. The rider was completely unscathed. Ferdinand had only small scrapes on his knee & forehead of which he got a pharmacist to quickly tended to. And he was looking ok..

‎​Ferdinand later bought a ticket & traveled back to the UK. Heartbreakingly, just 3 days later, his family received a call informing them that their beloved son had passed away due to complications, suspected to be internal. ‎​Finally, Ferdinand was brought back home to be laid to rest.
