Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni and Ngunjiri Wambugu have been accused by former MPs from Mt Kenya of using a meeting the MPs had organised with Matiangi to paint a picture that Matiang’i had officially joined the Jubilee Party.

Ngunjiri Wambugu who arrived late for the meeting was not even given a chance to speak but quickly pulled Matiangi aside after the meeting and using a photo man he had carried along with him snapped a photo with Matiangi which he quickly posted even before Matiangi left the venue.

Matiangi and the former MPs are said to be angry with Kioni for not setting the record straight and for Wambugu for using the meeting to advance his agenda of hate against the United opposition. The former MPs have since stated that the meeting had no agenda about the upcoming Jubilee NDC or anything related to Jubilee .
