UPDATE: Political Parties Seeking To Contest In The November 27 By-Elections Must Comply With The Following Checklist

Political parties seeking to contest in the November 27 by-elections have been handed a seven-point compliance checklist by the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP).

  1. Set up election management teams and internal dispute resolution committees before fielding candidates.
  2. Submit authorised signatories’ names and specimen signatures to the ORPP by September 17th, 2025
  3. Submit verified membership registers to the ORPP
  4. Submit comprehensive nomination schedules (venues, dates, procedures) and full lists of aspirants
  5. Nomination details must be 5 posted on party websites and the ORPP site at least a week before the exercise
  6. Parties must adhere to timelines and submission processes agreed with IEBC
