The Standard newspaper headlines today is named “Shutdown”. According to the Newspaper, it talks about the demonstration which happened yesterday across the country. The newspaper reveals that the demonstration happened in several parts of the country where it turned into a looting game after thugs and criminals started destroying and looting properties of people.

These thugs went on by blocking several roads across the country like in Nairobi CBD they ferried coffins and paraded them in the city claiming that they are mourning those who were killed during the demonstration. The Gen Zs have distanced themselves from yesterday’s demonstration which was seen to be chaotic after other groups of goons intervened. Despite that, let us maintain peace among each other during this time of demos.
