The people’s Daily newspaper headlines today talks about the taxes which are expected to be increased following the president William Ruto’s decision to reject the finance bill 2024. According to the Newspaper, it is a bad News to Kenyans as they will be paying more taxes on phones and tv. This is according to the East Africa customs law which is now forcing the president William Ruto to increase taxes on some basic households. Kenyans will be suffering more as even the cost of living is currently high.

The president William Ruto is now asked to make sure Kenyans don’t suffer more in his government due to taxes. This has just come after the president Ruto’s government increased salaries of state and other officials. Make sure to vote wisely in 2027 general election.
