This afternoon, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and his Spouse Pastor Dorcas Rigathi join the larger Gachagua Family for prayers following the demise of the DP’s eldest sister Leah Wangari Muriuki, at Mirera Village, Thingithu Ward, Laikipia East Constituency, Laikipia County. eaders present include Laikipia Senator John Kinyua, Laikipia Deputy Governor Reuben Kamuri, former Laikipia Woman Representative Cate Waruguru, former Laikipia Speaker Patrick Waigwa, MCA’s led by area MCA Steven Nderitu Kamau, clergy amongst others.

Wangari, 82, who passed on last week, was the family’s Matriarch who has been taking good care of the larger Gachagua Family after the death of their parents. She was also a great philanthropist who went out of her way to help the needy people in her community.
