This Is How Politics Works In Kenya

Suppose I have a son and he is ready for marriage and I tell him;
“You will marry the girl I chose.”
Obviously he will say, “NO!”
I tell him, “She is President Ruto’s daughter.”
He will say, “OK.”
Then I call Ruto and say, “I want your daughter to marry my son.”
Ruto says, “NO.”
I tell Ruto, “My son is the CEO of the World Bank.”
Ruto says, “OK.”
Then I call the President of the World Bank and ask him to make my son the CEO.
He says, “NO?”
I tell him, “My son is President Ruto’s son-in-law.”
He said, “OK.”
