Floods: Hundreds Of Families Displaced In Garissa Town After River Tana Burst It’s Banks

HUNDREDS of families have been displaced in Garissa town and the neighbouring Mororo town in Tana River County as River Tana burst its banks. According to the news update which was shared on the social media platforms, the residents were forced to run for their lives after heavy rainfall was experienced in their region.

The rescue team managed their best to help the families which were submerged in water. This has come after the country experienced heavy rainfall nonstop. Despite that, the government of Kenya has urged those residents who are living near dams, rivers or lakes to move on a safer place to avoid losing their members from floods.
