Names Of UDA Leaders Who Attended Ruto’s NEC Meeting

UDA Party Leader President William Samoei Ruto chaired the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting where a raft of decisions were agreed.

Among other things, the meeting agreed and approved an amendment to the UDA Party Constitution creating one position of the Deputy Party Leader and created two offices of
Assistant Deputy Party Leaders. This NEC said was to align the Party’s structural leadership with the national governance structure.

The Constitution initially created three positions of Deputy Party Leader.

Deputy Party Leader, Deputy President H.E. H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, EGH attended the key meeting.

  2. Sen. Cleophas Malalah – Secretary General
  3. Hon. Omar Hassan – Vice Chairperson
  4. Hon. Kimani Ichung’wa – Majority Leader National Assembly
  5. Hon. Aaron Cheruiyot – Majority Leader Senate
  6. Hon. Japheth Nyakundi – Treasurer
  7. Governor Anne Waiguru
  8. Mr. Nicodemus Bore – Executive Director, among other notable leaders.
