Update: Trees Fall On Several Cars In Juja, CS Murkomen Visits Mahi Mahiu Scene
The cabinet secretary for transport Hon Kipchumba Murkomen yesterday visited the Mahi Mahiu scene where water killed several people due to the floods. According to his post which he shared on the social media platforms, the transport cabinet secretary Hon Kipchumba Murkomen assured the residents support from the government of Kenya.
“Earlier today, when I arrived at Maai Mahiu to commiserate with the victims of the landslide tragedy and assess the infrastructure damage.
The Government will do everything to ease the pain of the affected families and restore the damaged roads”, Hon Murkomen said.

A close friend’s car. Weeeee. Hata nimeshindwa cha kusema oooh. Hii ya greenish/sijui ni bluish, yaaaani hiyo colour…Jo. It’s quite dangerous parking vehicles under trees. God’s mercies. The guy was walking towards the car, then a friend called him, requesting for a lift. He stopped for a minute, and just a few seconds later, the tree came tumbling. Crushed 7 cars. My Question??? Insurance cover. Do covers cater for such calamities.
