What Sakaja Has Done To Students Stranded In Nairobi After School Postponement
GOVERNOR Sakaja has paid for bus fare for students stranded in Nairobi due to the postponement of school reopening until next week.
Speaking on Radio Citizen on Monday morning, Governor Sakaja stated that the notice of the postponement of school reopening until next week came late.
Parents had already made plans, and students had already traveled. He expressed understanding that students are typically given one-way fare, so he will cover their return ticket.
The postponement of school was due to floods sweeping through the area, destroying property, homes, and cars following heavy rain.
